Becoming a mother is one of the most impactful life transitions that many women will go through. During the fertility, pregnancy, postpartum and parenting journey we will inevitably take care of our physical selves, but it is just as important to care for our mental and emotional selves. The transition to parenthood is exciting and joyful, but can also be overwhelming, and many new mamas feel isolated, exhausted and alone.  Even if everything is going well, it’s often a good idea to sit down with a therapist so that tensions don’t become bigger issues. Family relationships are dynamic and it is important for you to have the tools you need to deal with change, life transitions, and complex times. Individual counselling can help release old wounds, address fears, and combat any small problems before they become bigger issues.
